Important Update!
Just got word that Special Session is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM at the State Office Building. The Cottage Food changes are located in Revisor # 15-4504, 38.17 Sec. 53. There are pros and cons in this Omnibus Bill, so we will have to see what happens.
Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!
Just received this message from Rep. Newberger, “The Ag policy bill passed the House! The cottage foods portion was included. Next stop is Conference Committee. Stay tuned.” One more committee down, I’m not 100% sure but I think we have 3 more to go and then the Governor’s signature. What a process! But oh how exciting …
