Advanced Tier 2 Training
Happy Friday everyone! I have received some new information from Suzanne Driessen to share with you. They have scheduled classes for tier 2 training–$5001-18,000. However if you haven’t had a chance to do your food safety class for Tier 1 training, the MDA said they will accept these training sessions for both tiers. If none of these classes work for you, let us know because Suzanne said she will schedule more if needed.
Cottage Food Producer Advanced Food Safety Workshop

By attending this session, you will meet the training requirement to register as a Minnesota cottage food producer with annual sales $5001-$18,000 per year. This advanced course focuses on food safety practices for all processes covered under the cottage food law including drying, baking, confections, jams and jellies, acid and acidified fruit and vegetables and fermentation.
