Food Friday ~ Popcorn Balls
When I was little I would get so excited to find a popcorn ball in my Halloween stash. Here’s a really yummy recipe shared with us from my friend Nonie. Enjoy!
Gluten Free Popcorn Balls

Ingredients •16 cups popped popcorn – take out all the unpopped kernals •2 cups butter (1 pound) •1 bag mini marshmallows •1 cup corn syrup •2⅔ cups sugar •2 tsp vanilla •food color, if desired
Instructions 1.In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter. 2.Add the sugar and corn syrup. 3.Stir constantly until it boils and then continue for 3 minutes more. 4.Remove from the heat and add the vanilla and coloring, if desired. 5.In a huge bowl, combine the popped corn and the marshmallows. 6.Pour the hot butter mixture over the popcorn and stir until completely covered. 7.Let sit about 5-10 minutes. 8.Butter you hands and form into balls. 9.Place the popcorn balls onto waxed paper lined baking sheets. 10.Wrap with plastic wrap.
